Job Overview
Open Arms Solutions is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Live-In Caregiver to provide quality care and support to clients in their homes. This position requires a caregiver who is committed to promoting client independence, safety, dignity, and overall well-being.
Schedule
Live-In Position
Friday through Monday
8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Responsibilities
Provide total care assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
Assist with transfers, mobility, and ambulation
Provide compassionate dementia and memory care support
Support clients receiving hospice and end-of-life care
Assist with incontinence care and maintain proper hygiene
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
Provide companionship and emotional support
Perform light housekeeping and laundry
Follow care plans and agency policies to ensure quality care
Qualifications
At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience within the last 2 years
Previous live-in caregiving experience required
Experience providing dementia and memory care
Experience with hospice and end-of-life care
Experience providing incontinence care
Experience assisting clients requiring total care with ADLs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
Ability to pass background screening and meet employment requirements
